ok...so I just read your message again....for some reason we thought you meant end of July, but I think you meant August....so unfortunately we will not be here. But you'll have a blast up in Seattle, great city. Portland too!
Hey Angela,
Yeah we'll still be here. In fact we both have an opening on the 31st and its an awesome event to go to if you're in Portland for the last Thursday of the month. It's a freakfest! Please give us a call. We'd love to see you.
Yeah, what roger said...haha! POrtland is great. I have been making work and teaching at Western Oregon University which has been challenging but fun. You should plan a trip out here, it is freakin' amazing! hope all is well on your end! Good to hear from you.
Yo Angela,
Glad you wrote. Things are great here in Portland. I live 2 hours east of the some good surf, and 2 hours west of Mt. Hood, 2 hours south of Seattle, and Portland itself has a great art scene.
Yeah, I just quit my job and started pushing my work here in town. Wish me luck!!
Angela, things have been very good down here, doing a lot of art festivals and some good shows at the gallery. It sounds like you have found the perfect job for you. I am definitely interested in Spoleto, I was thinking of applying this year for that and I diffently like the theme. If you don't mind, keep me posted about that.

I can't come to any of the First Friday stuff, nor be present at my own studio because I'm going to Jenny and Courtney's reception out here at school. They're my peps! I wouldn't miss it for the world. Can't be in two places at once, though I've tri…
Blue is sometimes not an easy color to make.
Blue pigments of the past have often been expensive (ultramarine blue was made from the gemstone lapis lazuli, ground up), poisonous (cobalt blue is a possible carcinogen and Prussian blue, another well-…

It's good to hear what you have been up to. I hope your family is okay, it's a very sad day in Nebraska.
