Hey all,
This is just an email to remind you guys of a few upcoming things.
First of all, don't forget that we're going to Asheville for an Open
Studio event Saturday the 8th! Anyone that wants to come, we'll be
meeting at 9 at the commuter parking lot by Lee area (between building and
lot).
Also, you've probably heard a lot about this from the professors, but
don't forget about OUR Open House that's Friday the 7th! There will be
PLENTY of stuff for you to do. If you don't already have something to do,
talk to Syd or any professor about what you can do to help out! This will
be a great thing for our art department - publicity, people!
Next, the Juried Art Show art-drop-off dates are approaching. Thursday
the 7th and Friday the 8th, I believe. Don't forget! This is a great
opportunity - most juried art shows are much more than a measly couple of
dollars, and the show will look great on your artist resume.
Finally, keep in mind that we are planning on having an Art Sale on the
Library Bridge the week of exams. So don't throw anything out, make extra
prints, frame those awesome sketches... (However, anyone planning on
selling ceramics needs to talk to Sue first, there have been some changes
regarding that policy.)
