I'm headed to San Francisco in mid October to run the Nike Women's Marathon, but I will have some time to go exploring while I'm there. I'm trying to figure out where/what I want to do and eat. and a new kiln is born...

Ever since I struck gold and became a member at the artbomb, there has been this non-functioning gas kiln out back. It had issues. Workable issues, but issues all the same. Even workable issues take money. Artbomb is non-profit- we rarely have money floating around.

Me and the artbomb...

For those of you who know me, you understand that my studio is my second home and my second family. Out of the two years I have been at the artbomb, this past year has shown me just how much of a family these people are to me. We loan each other money when we need it most, lend an ear after a hard day, help each other move, share a bottle of wine, cook dinner together, exchange ideas and process, and generally share in the bond that only comes from close working quarters.
