B;

Love the work; your creativity is really showing itself off well!! I really like the "Farmery" and wish you the best of luck with the next phase of the competition. I've got a new graduate student in the sculpture program that I will send the Dell site link to. He's doing some interesting work on sustainability and public art; I think he will really connect with your proposal. Good luck with the thesis work too. Keep me posted and be sure to let me know if you find yourself back this way. It would be great to have you share your success with our current student population.

Best,

Dave

Ben!!!! Still waiting for the pics of your wonderful work man!!!! Hey, there's a guy here in the ME program that is applying to NC State for ID. I told him you went to school there and might be able to give him some advice. If you are willing his name is Glenn Milner and he can be reached at cmilner@clemson.edu. Hope you are well!!

Will do. And let us know if you want to populate your future design-farm with artists -- I'll send you some. Sounds interesting!

Stabbed?? Did he actually get accidentally stabbed while you were there, or was he stabbed at some point in the past? How Raleigh. I remember that happening all the time. I still have about 20 accidental stab wounds from a festive weekend I spent there.
It's so funny how people intersect in the art world. Julia and I overlapped at the KHN Center in Nebraska for about three or four weeks. How do you like industrial design? I always thought that would be an interesting field -- and NC State has a great design program.
Things are insanely busy here as usual. Lots of new faculty, which is exciting! The advanced drawing students continue to torment me by ignoring their sketchbooks.

Good god! That is so weird!! How did you end up meeting Julia? Go see her work if you get a chance, she's good.
What are you doing in Raleigh? I used to live in Chapel Hill and still miss it sometimes -- Raleigh/Durham have some pretty good spaces for art.

I think this is pretty neat, but odd at the same time. Why is it so important to the Japanese to preserve Western art?
