Animal Rights and Art

So I got an email from a friend of mine, big PETA supporter, to look at this artist Habacuc and his work with a starving dog. Outside of the fact that I can't stand any artist who wants to be a rock star by making there name a single word, I went and looked this guy up. What's my problem with this whole art thing?

I've been looking for the past few days for the misuse of the term art within our society. This task has been given to me for a class. I've found somethings that I figured everyone would agree with such as coffee art, art being sold on ebay (you can find pictures of these on my site) and of course I've searched through the library titles and have found such books as "The art of Adoption" and "The art of Administration".
