well kudos to you for selling your work!! that's awesome! I seriously doubt that either of those works are going anywhere anytime soon, so if you change your mind or have a mad creative spree.... you know where to find me! ;)
....just saw Dave's post about smooth-on. That stuff has piqued my interest for a while now but I haven't tried it yet. Did you mess with it any? I'd love to pick your brain if you did....
THANKS!! Both of those are about 2 years old, actually.... and both up for grabs. Interested in a trade?

Actually, I'm having no trouble at all! It would actually be harder for me to NOT find hopeful people here, the community here is that incredible. But hey, give me their names anyway and I'll keep my eye out.
That's great - congratulations on that sale! Last night I was in Chicago, and I walked by a big corporate lobby that had 4 huge paintings that were, to be honest, horrid. So, after that, it's good to hear of a company that recoginized good work. Have you thought about submitting work to galleries in Atlanta?
Blake!!! Hey man!! There are a few ways for certain. My advise is to go to http://www.smooth-on.com/. They have some great products that are right up your alley. We have a representative in SC

They sell a crystal clear plastic that's castable and it works great. It's not cheap but you are not going to find anything on the cheap side if you want what I thing you are after.
Is this an appropriate place to shamelessly plug my redesigned website? It has all my art and it's where I upload new art. It's a complex site; about 120 hours of work went into the relaunch. Give it a gander if you have some time. www.uburu.com

I can't come to any of the First Friday stuff, nor be present at my own studio because I'm going to Jenny and Courtney's reception out here at school. They're my peps! I wouldn't miss it for the world. Can't be in two places at once, though I've tri…
Blue is sometimes not an easy color to make.
Blue pigments of the past have often been expensive (ultramarine blue was made from the gemstone lapis lazuli, ground up), poisonous (cobalt blue is a possible carcinogen and Prussian blue, another well-…

I like the Cycle/Symmetry series -- those are quite nice. Very contemplative. Where are these?
