I am fire, where's my form?

I'm not sorry about this sudden flood of blogs. Italy has been hovering over me and so while sitting at home, bored and alone, this is an opportune time for me to type my fingers off. There is one detail that bothers me though--I'm sitting here, bored and alone, not in South Carolina or even in the United States. No, I'm in South Korea, half a world away.

Next on the list were Florence and Venice.

Florence was my favorite city--probably based on the merit of its art alone. Like Rome, Florence was a bustling city filled with tourists; like Orvieto, the people were kinder. Even though Italy has a strong national identity, it's smaller regions posses very strong personalities of their own (if you know anything about Italian history, this is an obvious statement). All the cities we traveled to--Rome, Orvieto, Perugia, Bolsena, Assisi, Civita, Florence, and Venice leave very different aftertastes in my mind.
