Yeah, what roger said...haha! POrtland is great. I have been making work and teaching at Western Oregon University which has been challenging but fun. You should plan a trip out here, it is freakin' amazing! hope all is well on your end! Good to hear from you.

Yo Angela,
Glad you wrote. Things are great here in Portland. I live 2 hours east of the some good surf, and 2 hours west of Mt. Hood, 2 hours south of Seattle, and Portland itself has a great art scene.
Yeah, I just quit my job and started pushing my work here in town. Wish me luck!!

Angela, things have been very good down here, doing a lot of art festivals and some good shows at the gallery. It sounds like you have found the perfect job for you. I am definitely interested in Spoleto, I was thinking of applying this year for that and I diffently like the theme. If you don't mind, keep me posted about that.

I work as an artist and also have a full-time job working for a non-profit environmental advocacy organization, Coastal Conservation League (www.coastalconservationleague.org).

Yep. Graphite is conductive, so holding the pencil in one hand, then touching the line with the pther complete the circuit, which produces the sound.
