Event Description

Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition with paintings by Jenny Hutchinson and drawings by Courtney Richards

Hutchinson and Richards seek to display multiple interpretations of the figure. Looking through the lens of traditional media, they examine the emotions, actions and ideals of the 21st century human. “Physically Mine, Conditionally Yours” is also an acknowledgement that content ascribed to the physical work of the artist is conditional to the interpretation of the viewer. Therefore, this is an exhibition of portraits grounded in communal identity.
